Pbme to connect to HL

Hello,

I've got the folowing error message when i try to connect :

Error Socket: 10060 The attempt to connect timed out

I have a new modem
but i have open the tcp & udp port with 21000 on their website.

I have turned off the XP firewall too

but i have always the same pbme
and it's the same thing when i try to connect to Teamspeak for instance.

Can you give me a solution

Is it LockOn your trying to connect with?
There is a port for LockOn also that needs to be open. I can not think of the # right now, but go into game and go into multi player, and I think it shows it on the right side of screen.

i'm guessing you have a router and if so then you need to open port 1698 for hyperlobby and you need to open port 8767 for teamspeak 21000 is only for pacific fighters
for other games you will need to go to the manufacturer of your router web site and read the FAQ about what ports to open and how to forward them to you PC
