Can someone please explain exactly how I go about deleting my exixting account and starting a new one with a different user name please?

Connect to HL.
Type into the chat this command : //deleteaccount The hit enter. You will be logged off automatically. Your -username/membership will no longer be in HL database.
Then you will be free to reconnect with a new name. Just follow the account wizard in the chat area. (You can also use this feature to change your password.)

Hey Gunny...I hate to bother you again....I followed your instructions and deleted the account in HL...but I am unable to login with a different name and my account here is still under my old name.
I know I'm not doing it right...if you could be a little more detailed and specific about how to go about it.
Profuse apologies for the time consuming questions...but I'm kinda dense when it come to these things.
