hi , am new to hyperlobby and played for 3 hours straight with no probs then was booted, i take it because my ping was to high.Is there anyway of lowering it?have tried downgrading all my video settings
all advice will be helpful as am pretty new to this, am playing il2 fb if that makes a difference

56k Modem is PCI ? If yes problem is there. Try change it for a hardware based modem. PCI softmodems are good for internet browsing, but not for internet gaming (cpu speed do not have done anythink with this ...)

I have tried an external US Robotics modem and ping improved.
Lag was dramaticly reduced but not totally eliminated.
I have now got cable, the external modem was second best.
Cable is better, but the external modem was very good.
I only used the external modem with Jane's WWII Fighters
BUT i'd guess it will improve FB at least as much.
PCI modems share CPU time, since the games generaly max
out the CPU resources, the modem lags, now matter how
