Could it be possible for Hyperlobby to connect to different versions of the same game?

I have two different Fighter Squadron installations on my PC. A WW1 version and a WW2. But Hyperlobby supports only one version. Sad

And if I uninstall Hyperlobby it won't forget that setting.
Is it possible to remove the settings?

Well I have played Il2 Sturmovik in the Forgotten Battles room by renaming il2.exe to il2fb.exe
Same netcode.
Might be the case for you in Fighter Squadron. Try it at your own risk Wink

Remember to lock your game and state that its not the game that is ment to be played in that room.

Other than that you cant change what .exe the HL is looking for but can tell it where to look for the .exe.

This can be done by pressing CTRL+SHIFT and left-clicking on the connect button. Then typing or pasteing in your pathway.

I have done support for SDOE due to interest and some consultation with SDOE comunity and the author (VDU) of the latets patces (that is designed to support HyperLobby). Its designed to support the "online standart". ww1 patches does not meet this online standart. When you found hungres of ppls that sign a pool (as have done current SDOE comunity) i made a new room for SDOE WW1 "online standart" ....

Grunneger,

Actually it is possible to do this now Very Happy

There is an Online Standard for SDOE WW1: http://argonv.tripod.com/FSWWI_Page/readme.htm

Once you are up to the Online Standard, follow these steps;

1. Connect to HyperLobby,

2. Click on the cyan radio button next to "Player List",

3. Click on Connect/ Select game,

4. Click "Disconnect",

5. Simultaneously hold Ctrl+Shift and click the "connect" button,

6. When the pop-up window appears, click "search". HL will then search your HD for all SDOE app.exe files,

7. Double click on your WW1 install and then click "save"

8. Click on "connect"

Hope this helps. WW1 guys usually meet on Sundays starting at 1800 GMT.

*Edit*: Looks like Gunny already answered your question. Serves me right for not reading the posts before I shoot my mouth off Embarassed

Thanks again Jiri for making HL support SDOE.

Cheers,
VeeTen

I've found another way to make things right. I cut the ww2 dir to another drive and restarted Hyperlobby. It couldn't find my WW2 app.exe and I had to refind the exe-file. This time I choose the WW1 dir. Laughing

So you say you're flying about 6 pm on Sundays?

hmmm, I'll keep that in mind.

But don't count on me the first two weeks. I'm going on a holiday to Greece !!! Wink

But love to fly with you after that !
