Strange problem. Please help...

Well the problem is the following:
Today I got an adsl conx and a new zyxell adsl modem.
I made the installation and everything worked excellent.
After a couple of hours I tried to fly a mission in HL and I found out that I could not log on into HL anymore!!! At this moment my iexplore is working fine. So, I use an ISDN conx that I have and I enter into lobby and start asking for help. A nice guys offered to help me and he told me to go into: windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts and add: 212.71.138.15 hyperfighter.jinak.cz in the last line and so I did. What happened after is that I could join HL BUT I can't get into iexplorer or mozilla anymore!!! It just doesn't connect! The only way to connect to iexplorer is via HL (i.e. double-clicking in the middle of the HL where it takes you to HL web site!!!).

Can anyone help me restore internet connection to iexplorer/mozilla again?

P.S.1 I tried to delete the line thatI added to [windows...hosts] but it doesn't work. In fact, when I delete this line, I don't have browser and HL anymore!
P.S.2 I tried the xp's system restore but it didn't change this [windows...hosts] file.
