FBDj Problems

Hello once more, I was hoping to have this problem solved by now but nothing I do seems to get it fixed.

FBDj shows the date as 31 December 1969 and the Mission Time left with negative values.

I've tried the WoP site but older posts don't have the solution and got no relevant replies so far.

It has something to do with the eventlog but I don't know what else can I do.

Does anyone know how can I fix this? It has disabled 2 of my servers on its way to the 3rd.

Sorry to seem a bit ingrateful but that's not exactly what I was looking for.
I've looked pretty much everywhere but no one seems to have a fix...

The question/ problem isnt very clear, please explain further the problems and consequences with FBDj and the date settings.

Are you saying you cannot change the date ?

The date is expiring on the server due to time event closure for the mission (neg values)

Other problem........ ?

My team managed to correct the problem.

FBDj coding isn't very.. user friendly.

You can setup the server normally but then when you run it and go to the Current Mission tab, time would show up as negative, when players pressed the <timeleft command it would also show as negative and the mission wasn't loaded.

Clients would be 'sitting' on the server without a mission.

The problem that many people have about this is due the the FBDj not being able to read/write the Eventlog.lst file, only the Il-2 server is capable of it.

The path must include that file, IE C:/####/Il-2 Dedicated Server/Eventlog.lst/

The problem was that the extra " / " in the end was preventing the system from working correctly.

And the missions folder was wrong too, I still have to look for it but when I finish reviewing the server, I will post it here so that everyone with the same problem have a better chance solving it.

OK I found out what exactly caused the issue:

When you put down the Server path, on FBDj
It has to be just like this:

Il-2 Server directory: C:\Server\ <note the extra backslash
EventLog File (Including Path) C:\Server\eventlog.lst < no backslash

Note that you have to delete the eventlog file so that when changes are applied, the Server will create a new one on wich it can write to.

Then go to the confs.ini and add these lines:

[game]
eventlog=Eventlog.lst
event_ground=1
event_air=1

eventlogkeep=1
TypeClouds=1

Also, when placing missions your missions folder directory should be the following:

C:\Server\Missions\fbdj < Case sensitive, make sure it's lower.

Go to the mission builder, enter the missions specs and time,you mustn't forget that, and hit save, copy the 3 files (.mis, .properties, .fbdj) and paste them in the above folder.

Then go to mission cycle tab on FBDj and place add the mission to the available missions list and it will appear!

Solved!
