Are most of the Dedicated Server hosts no longer using the beta? I only see two on hyperlobby now, and yet looking at the "Client" area in game there are many more servers up.
The numbers of players differ because people are joining from the game's client and not from hyperlobby. They do not show on the hyperlobby player lists.
