I recently purchased two Seagate 1.5 TB drives from NewEgg.
Both were partitioned to 500 gig partitions, no problems so far
but I never attempted to use tham un partitioned.

A common error is to use the "Quotes" om the beginning and end of the command line.
The "Steam" version is compatable in every way.
