hi
i just dled the fb enabler (i had used the other in il2) but when i click on it,i get mess. can t find fb. i put the path in target C:program files\ubi soft\il-2 sturmovik forgotten battles still no joy , lol thx for any help S! |

When HL recognize your game, the enabler must recognize it too  |

i justed started flying,not good enough yet to fly online so i don t have hyper lobby installed,do i have too?i didn t with the il2 ver.thx |

Hi! My install has uppercase letters C:\Program Files\Ubi Soft\IL-2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles\il2fb.exe
Might be the cause ? |

You have many choices to play online. The main online client seems to be the Hyperlobby client.
Ubisoft has a program on the installation disk that allows you to play there.
Direct ip can be done and also other game search engines like Game spy and All Seeing Eye.
A majority of players use the Hyperlobby as it’s free, reliable and easy to use. |

nope, no luck.damn i was waiting for this ver. too.the other worked so well with il2.i ll keep checking. when i install it there is nothing in the "start in"box(shortcut prop.) tried the above, message said couldn t find fb game,but thats the coorect address,on my sys. |

hi every one
i have installed hyperlobby and at the start hl did not find my il2fb
then i sayed him the correct patch and it workes.
today i have downoadet and installed the enabler,
but the little programm does not find my il2fb
then i startet hl and try to start teh enabler, no way
i alway become the message that the enabler cant find my il2fb
how i can say the enabler where my il2fb is? |

When HL found it, Enabler found it too (the same code used )
PS: HL3.1.40 have bug that prevent search FB game correctly. fix come out soon ... |

hl did not find it automaticaly
so the enabler cant it

Path on to fb instalation is stored in two places in the registry. First is :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Ubi Soft\IL-2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles
end second (made by HL) :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\il2fb.exe
HL 3.1.40 and the enabler getting preference of the second key.
HL 3.1.4x will get preference of the first key and update second key.
I have 3.1.4x finished yet and ill publish it soon as posible |
