Hi all,
here are my suggestions:
- what we need is to display the actual game version number. So you could merge IL-2 Sturmovik, Pacific Fighters and Forgotten Battles into one category. Just display the version number automatically or force the server starter to put it in.
- since the dedicated server software is running fine on Linux/Wine 0.9.28 we need a way to start the HL without a GUI to add the server on HL. Or just find a more simple way to add running "freelance" servers on HL.
- We need to display the REAL amount of players currently flying on a server - not only the ones which registered with HL.

Since I am running a IL-2 dedicated server on Linux (without GUI), this is a great idea! |

Here is the solution for Problem 1 and 3 to the current player, map and version request.
IP.Port UDP of Il2Server
Send \\Info\\ or \\Status\\ (Depends on Language used with \ or \\.
Result for Status old Example.
(For any details i have source code in php, c# , vb.net , vb where i use it )

I suggested this already and i requested access to hl protocol to allow signing in from GUI independent Script. Got no answer .
Further support for Multiple Servers per IP should be included. |
