Hi all I just wanted to say Hi and thanks, I've been lurking for about a week now and just got started online two days ago. I have to say that I have met some very nice people since starting this game. (it's so damn addicting, I think my fiance' will probably leave me). Does anyone know the best way to get better at dogfighting? or is it normal to get blasted a ton in the beginning, I have gotten exponentionally (sp?) better but still haven't gotten the hang of it. I seem to lose the villan every time that i try to b&z. Does this just take more practice??

Hoho, I know all about flight-sim fixation. This old cat is returning to IL-2 Hyperfighter after a couple of years spent successfully divorcing Her Lioness. She thought she should be obeyed in all things and was entitled to interrupt a good air-fight to summon me to dinner - wrong.

Thanks Simba, and I think I'm not too far off from you. Although I am still struggling, I find myself reading combat manuver manuals at work. LOL. Hopefully someday I'll be able to last longer than about two passes b4 getting blow to bits , but i love every minute of it.
