cant see players in server and also missing a lot of servers

hi,
ive just finished reinstall hyperlobby after i format my pc .
the problem is that i dont see all the server there is (im tring to login to il2 forgotten battles) and the ones i see which is only 7 servers they have only 1 player .

anyone ancounter with that issue ?

Does your game run properly off line?
If so, right click on the icon, choose "properties"
and copy the path from the target box.
Paste that in the HL target box deleting the "quotation marks".

That should do it.

Hi,

I have been using Hyperlobby for many years now without any problems. However, after a longer break I now have exactly the same problem. Sometimes HL stopps after the message 'HyperLobby server connected succesfully' and most of the time I just see a few servers with just one player.

In the 'connect/select game' menu I can see many players behind 'Forgotten Battles'. But none in the 'In Chat' window in the 'Player Lists'. The chat also does not work. Neither can I send nor do I receive any messages.

Offline and if I connect online servers directly from the game, everything is fine. Unfortunately, I don't understand the previous tip. Does someone have an additional help for me? That would be very nice.

PS: I also have Win XP with SP 3.

I assume you are in the Forgotten Battles room and not the IL-2 room.

I just exited the Forgotten Battles room and logged into the IL-2 room.

One server and one player.

Five are in game.

I got a feeling you are in the wrong room.

I am in the forgotten battles room. The servers I can see are the familar ones: Zeke_vs_Wildcat, Spit_vs_109,...

What is weierd is that sometimes it works well. Some months ago I couldn't play because my ping to most of the servers was too high. However, HL was working fine back then. Now it has changed. I have a good ping to my favorite servers, however, connection problems to HL Sad

At the moment I join the servers directly from the game, but this is anoying Confused

I have checked for worms, viruses,..., and tried a new install. No change. Now I have no idea what I can try more.

Anyway, if someone has a tip for me I would be very happy to know it.

hi,

for talking to other people who using hl , i was told im not the only one who suffer from that problem.

since the problem is worst than just not see the player in channels, but it also doesnt lunch the game - here is what i do.

you need to check that in the il setup file (not in the game setting), at the network option its set to your ip address, if not change it to yours, (mine is sometimes set to default and that way multiplayer wont work - so its most important to set it to the ip).

then lunch the game (single player not through hl) and then connect to your desire game channel using their ip address and port that u can find out in google ( example : il2 warclouds server ip, il2 ipspitvs109 server , etc) .

have fun.

i guess, the problem have something to do with latest version of hl , cause i used earlier version of hl without any prob until formated my pc and dl latest version.
