OK.

Now that I have installed the SP2, i can now click a link posted in chat and I will get the IE open to that page.

It works.

The question now is, what did I do to disable that feature?

We may never know.

It works! I installed SP2 too and links now open in Firefox. Very nice Cool

I still don't know the cause either, but I guess it wasn't any service related since SP2 did not re-enable any of the existing services (.. that I know of... Security Center is a new service but I already disabled it Razz )

Thanks Crossbore, I would have installed SP2 anyway but maybe had never clicked a link in chat because I'd have thought that it still doesn't work Smile
