i went to donate when it was first put up, however, they want my banking number. that aint gonna happen. is there another way to donate, will be happy to.....when u donate does that guarntee a connect to HL.. S` |

PayPal is one of the most safe internet paying service i know. For this reason i using it exclusively ...
Nothing will guarantee you will abble connect HL in long term, since i canot guarantee it will be here for another 10 years. |

Sir ... am not concerned with 10yrs from now, prob be dead by then, 64yrs old now... Have talked with several people and they are of same opnion, they are happy to donate but will not give out banking info. question is if donation made will u be able to use HL for that month or is it first come first serve...donaters may have to wait to connect because non donaters are ther ahead of them, is a concern |

It is NOT about preferences being given to those who pay....it's about bandwidth costs.
Some of us have paid to keep HL going without expecting anything in return over the months. Might be time for others to realize this and understand that there is no free ride.
I suggest you donate using PayPal, which is secure and favors the purchaser over the seller and know that you are helping to keep something good alive.

Maybe have a section on forums that lets us know month to month what % of donations is needed for that month and list those that donate.  |
