Dear Jiri;

With my Group we fly in FB game section in HL and for over 5 months now; I can never join any game server when A specific friend of mine is hosting and only when it is him....It seems we have a computer or Provider connexion incompatibility. I have asked my ISP (AOL) to help me but for them nothing seems to be wrong!
When I check My Friend ping in an room for me he is all red and apparently he sees the same when I am in a game room.
I am desperate to find a solution and I was wondering if you could help!

Thanks a lot

Siegfrid

and that friend is me, and to add to what Sigi said: We tested everysthing imaginable, without any firewall active. He and me can join any other game, all other players so far can join my server, but not this guy...its fantastic, it looks like our PCs are living in different universes....
i am not behind a router or anything, just plain german T-com DSL connection...
we tried to ping each other with the commandline oping and we get timeouts, no ping possible towards each other, but no firewall...other people have ping o n him....he is on a dialup from southern france and on AOL, but that shouldnt be a probelm or ?
Did someone ever hear of something like that ?

pls comment if possible...
