I keep getting a timeout on 80% of the servers. WarClouds and others. I have a high end computer with I7 core CPU and Nvidia GTX 285 video card. My internet connection is 1-2M download and .290M upload. Ping rate is usually 100-300. Today I got timeouts on servers when my ping was 70. I have only one user account and should not be banned on any servers.
I have researched and tried everything I have found information on for the last month or so and I still get timeout, usually in the briefing or just after I am on the field and starting engine. Not sure what triggers actually cause a timeout on HyperLobby.
Has anyone got any other ideas....... I want to solve the problem so I can fly online.......?

I was using the 3 point something until today when I tried the new 4.0.2. The update to the latest version did not make a difference. I did not make any changes to the original settings for 4.0.2 so they are all at default.

Try open HL settings and have look into this section:
;Determine the client source port. Useful when
;is more that one user behind the NAT router.
;Must be diferent for each user behind the
;same NAT router.
localPort=21000
;This detecting correctIP address for systems
;with more that one network adapters
;Default is 1 (on)
DetectLocalIP = 1
;Set to 1 when both server and client are
;behind a router using private network
;address and both are behind one public ip
;address
loopback=0
;When is loopoback set to 1 here must be
;specified private ip address of the server
;behind a router
loopbackip=
You may change localPort or DetectLocalIP settings to deal with timeouts

Great..... changing the DetectLocalIP to =0 did the trick. I am sure that I tried this on the older version of HL settings and it did not work.
Thanks for the help..... I am off and flying....... I will be continuing may donations each month....... your work and help are appreciated.
