I have been doing some promotion for Hyperlobby to my friends. One of which has a 56k dial-up modem. He is always timeouted but the other isnt. The hosts they join are both "ping timouted" but one of them can join but the other cant.
In a testprogram the timeouted friend use 95 - 100 % of accesable bandwith. Is there a testprogram I can use or a hint of settings I can set to help my "timeouted" friend. None of them has a firewall, and their computers match each other in performance.

Hello, I have seen improvment in dialup after running anti-spyware programs. Eg: Addaware and spybot.
There are registry tweaks to that might help.
Ask him to ring his ISP and ask what can be done to improve his connection.
