Il2 love playing and I love ubuntu! not have any version for ubuntu? Hyperlobby I tried running on ubuntu and I had no success: (

Till yesterday all worked brilliant (Ubuntu 9).
Today I installed HL 4.2.0 and now I should find alternative to HL because it logs me out always when I try to join any server

I did all those steps! unsuccessful, updated everything and does not carry: (any tips the most?'m doing something wrong? where I installed the visual basic but do not know if it was 6, I performed the other steps as well but without success: ((( |

Since HL never offered any functionality for linux, it cannot lose any of em 
As i stated linux and wine is not supported by me and under windows all working as is supposed. You here blaming wrong product so lets fill a bugreport to the wine project  |

As I wrote, under linux (at least Ubuntu 9) it worked well till HL 4.2.0.

Yes, I know and apologise - just wondered what was changed in HL || wine to give such a strange effect. But it is impossible to say it is not HL because its old version does not connect to server to prove it is wine prob. So it is not ok to write bugreport to wine...
Maybe it is possible to get latest pre 4.2.0 HL that does connect to server for test purposes?  |

You should try it now Geep. I fixed HL integration with the latest Wine 1.2 rc4. Your squad needs to practice more advanced ACM tactics as well.

What depends HL - NP currently now, fixed do not remember when - most important thing is running Ubuntu in same resolution as IL2. Seems really more wine prob than HL - apologies again
What depends squad - agree, ACM tactics lessons are newer can bee too much - come in TotalWar and teach, I'll be first apprentice
