Jiri, it is me AS from Teamcombatleague.
I was also the one who supported the idea of Hyperlobby for Lockon 2.0 in their forums.
Nevertheles what happened is this.
I used to play with a Callsign "SKiTT" and suddenly i got a strange PM from someone telling me that "SKiTT" means in swedish language "shit" and i supposidly violate the TOS of HL.
First i thought, that this is a joke, becuase such jokes used to happen before and out of 176 languages, how can someone always know, what his name means in africa for example.
SKiTT infact means (so i understand it) in australia and ireland "litte kid in dypers" ...like a sweet nick for little boys.
Before i could react properly to that warning and realize it is not a joke i was already banned.
My IP starts with 84.181.xx.xx .
So please would you allow me to rejoin and disable that ban.
I´m going to change SKiTT to KiTT in furture to avoid misunderstandings.

All i can do is appologize, that i didnt know that my callsign means something TOS violating in swedish language. I took english as the basis language for HL, sorry. |

Article Nr 9. of TOS says:
Use callsigns that are sexually or othewise suggestive or offensive.
NOWHERE, there is written that you have to ensure that a "name" does not mean something "bad" in ALL common languages. I REALLY thought someone is pulling a joke on me, so.... |

If it is offensive to some part of the HL population it must be removed since it violates the TOS.
This is like using a sexist,racist and other denigrading words and names. Would you like to be labeled with a word in a language u dont understand? Surely not. |

I will not use SKiTT anymore and change it to KiTT. Is that ok with the TOS, becuase i really dont have the potential to check the meaning of KiTT in all the languages of the world?
