Hi
I cannot seem to save any custom game settings in the IL2 room, I can use default ones but not custom. I have uninstalled Hyperlobby and deleted the settings folder then reinstalled but it's the same.
I am running a dedicated server.
Any thoughts? |

I believe you have to set the settings in the server.cmd file. The boxes you check, in the info window when starting are for informational purposes only.So others can see what the settings are. They do not change the dedicated server settings. |

Hi troll2k
Yes I understand that... it's the 'information settings' that I want to change they don't stay checked, when I customise them then click save they default back. It used to work fine but something has happened that a reinstall didn't cure. |

For some reason this happened on my experimental ded server machine too...
When you click the top slot, just save the settings. Upon clicking it again, set any info text and settings you want, and hit the start, and settings and info text should show up properly to others. The drawback is that any players joining game from beginning(from a slot below) will see the default "easy" settings from the info button, before getting into the game, but this should be no issue for dedicated dogfight server, as all info and diff settings are shown right once the server is moved to the running games list. |

Thanks LeLv76_Erkki I will give that a try, would be nice to know what's causing it though, what game version was the server running? Mine has Ultrapack 2.01 on it. |
