good evening gents and hopefully some ladies
well, it looks like i have a very common problem and dont know what to do...cant find any solution here in the lobby.
i did run hl this afternoon and shortly after it started it forced me to install the newest version. after the installation i could not connect to the lobby any more . it gives me the error code 10060. several deleting and reinstalling did not work.
i have changed nothing in my pc configuration, but disabled windows firewall and the virus scanner with no luck
unfortunately i cant find anything in the lobby here what could help me so i hope one clever user or admin can solve the problem for me.

ok, its look like i have the answer,
i connected my blackberry as access point to my computer and surprise surprise, hyperlobby connected!!!
so it was clear that the problem laid with my service provider. They actually looked for the set up and admitted that the fold was on their system. 35 minutes later i could connect to hyperlobby on a normal way again. i believe that everybody here with the same problem, will have most likely a service provider problem. just test your pc with a dial up modem or an internet ready hand held and you will see.
