i have a very annoying problem with hyperlobby,
i have 128k cable connection, if i download from the net i get speeds such as 16kb/s.
however, the same day, if i go on hyperlobby, my pings are all RED RED RED (pings >1400) except for one 4 notched green server which is located in the unites states.
other fast united states servers are red too.
so my question is: how can my connection be very very interestingly slow on hyperlobby, however on other programs it is super fast? Does hyperlobby not find my true connection? please help me my squadron needs me for VOW! i tried to connect to an HL server with only IP from the IL2 sturmovik game, and that way the ping is super good, wheras the ping on hyperlobby is terrible for the same server.
thank you jiri i would apreciate an answer.

HyperLobby do not have anything with ipings It only calculate values, the same values as a ping comman .... BTW some providers blocking ICMP protocol, so it can be problem ....

Using ICMP was not problem few years ago, when i start development of HL. But it can be used for DDOS atacks and related jerky hacker action, so some ISP disabling it. Maybe i rewrite ping calculation
