Is COD ready?????????

Hi all,
I have been offline for several years. I was a huge fan of IL2. I only recently saw that COD is out. It's sounds like it was not ready when released (no surprise). It appears its now supported in Hyperlobby. Is it worth buying yet??? I been waiting for it to release but I would like to know if it's a good purchase.

Any input is appreciated.

Yes Clod or Cliffs of dover has been released, for a year now. it is fantastic if you have a high end machine and is worth getting if you are a fan of the il2 series. Hyper Lobby now supports the game and it is slowly gaining momentum.
Steam will patch the game up to current version and there are a few tips and tricks to improving the gameplay.

moreover there are a few tips and tricks to improve playability.
including dot ranges in the game folder will help you to see stuff before it kills you.
disabling the ubisoft logo will really improve the game.

Don't forget the logo trick is for ATI gpu's Nvidias don't suffer the problem Smile

the effect we have experienced is rather awesome and all my guys have nvidia except for one or two of them.

It must be a placebo effect then.

The ATI driver picks up the intro movie and underclocks the gpu as a 2d application the game launches into the gui then the 3d application that is CoD but never recovers the correct clocking speed it stays at the lower rate, only ATI does this with their drivers Nvidia don't drop the gpu to 2d applications.

ATI have a setting in the driver for 3d I believe.

yes i understand what your saying alpha, but,
the difference is not placebo.
4 different rigs with improved graphics and frame rates. all nvidia cards.
they are also amd cpu's so its possible that that may have something to do with it.
its also possible that adding the dot range rcu has had an effect with it also.
my whole point was to offer a possible tip to improve the gameplay.
if it works sweet... if not, nothing lost

enable FXAA in nvidia console
turn AA off in game
add these files to game folder
turn trees to medium
building detail to low

in your config change
drawifnotfocused=0 to drawifnotfocused=1
