Im using a linksys router and was woundering if anyone has setup port triggering for hosting a game of IL2. If so what settings where used in the trigger port and incomming port. Would 1698 trigger port with incoming 21000 work? Thanks for any help in advance.

Thanks Jiri. I was already doing this. I was looking for away around having to open my computer to the world or having to forward just to one internal address. Since Im using DHCP I have to keep changing the address on the forward. The one way around it would be using the trigger. But it works when traffic is sent on the port. When hosting it doesn't send traffic at first. Is port 1698 what the hl client uses to connect? If so this might work. Thanks again.

Just thought I would let everyone know that using port 1698 to trigger port 21000 works.
