HL installes and plays OK, but when I turn off this computer then turn back on the Short cut says that HL is is not there. So I have to repair to use HL each time.
The OS is Win 7 Ultima I have tried to install as Adminster no luck. any ideas?

I got it fixed by moving from (x86) program files to just Program Files in C:\
