First of all - thanks for a great program Jiri - keep up the good work!
I was wondering if it might be possible to do a "Dedicated server version" of HL to save every possible % of server resources? This version would, as a suggestion, just make it possible to set the game up on HL and launch it. It would on launch go into the system tray to take up minimal resources.
As is know HL takes about 9MB (on our server) and that is not much but one sure gets to be a resource maniac when running a ded server
Cheers!

I have looked into ways to save memory for lower end system users. I never thought about server hosts but hey!
I am waiting for Jiri to reply to an email I sent him regarding this.
(It`s working fine still Jiri )
I seem to remember reading that most of the HL is GUI. So a low resource dedicated server version could be possible I guess. But that means possibly rewriting a whole new client which might be to much work for Jiri at this point in time. The more features equates into more resources used so it has to be weighed up and decided what is best.
