!!!HELP!!! I am trying to fix "Run time error 340" I read the thread that tells me to uninstall the updated file install the old one then install the update again. unfortunately I don't have the old file can someone please tell me where to get it?

I would appreciate your help in this matter. I want to play.

Hi m8 i have the same problem, if you see my post in this forum you will see the replys. Its a bug for some reasons something went wrong this time in HL and it doesent work in some systems. I tryed everything i found in this forum about 340 and nothing helped me. I will recomend you to Format your computer and install all the service packs you found.

I am not desperate enough to reformat my computer. I will just play tcp ip game instead. If and when this bug is fixed I would still use HL but I just can't see wasting any more time on trying to fix it right now.

Keep me up to date if there is a fix for this issue.

Its not the Desparate thing m8 think reasonably...we are10-15 users in a society of 32847 users!!! you must think very serious the probability that something doesent goes right on your system and a fatal error in your pc if not now probably in the near future its very possible to come. A new HL or a Fix of that Bug will not Solve the problem in your system....And if you have essays or other things on your systetm which cant affort to loose then you will be desparate...

According to my oppinion again! Format and get the Service packs if you dont have them....
