Major Login problem

I am posting this on behalf of Goggo

I've had HyperLobby from when I first started flying IL2 which was shortly
after it had come out.
Tonight HyperLobby stopped working for me. This is what I have tried and
discovered in the process:

- Message I get when trying to connect is the standard "Error Socket: 11004
Valid name, no data record of requested type"
- I have tried reinstalling the program now many times
- I have tried connecting to other rooms and still the same error as above

This is where it gets interesting:
- I tried to log onto http://hyperfighter.jinak.cz: and I get "Page cannot
be displayed" error
- I tried to ping hyperfighter.jinak.cz and I get "Ping request could not
find host" error
- I can however ping the above IP address

I am suspecting that I have been infected by an anti-HyperLobby trojan, but
yet I haven't found any suspect process running in the background. I cruise
around other sites, ping and get dns resolves without any probs. I have also
checked the registry in all the usual places that some trojans might hide. I
am running the latest anti-virus update.

Anyone have got any ideas as to what is wrong here?

Hello Bobcat,

Tell GoGo to get in touch with his isp. That error is due to a blocked connection. Which end is doing the blocking is anyones guess. His isp should be able to say if its their problem/Hyper's isp or GoGo`s.

If it turns out that its something on GG`s machine then get him to forward his system specs, connection type and contents of his verinfo.txt file found in "C:\Program Files\HyperLobbyPro3" folder.
You can post them here and Jiri can take a look.
