Error Socket: 10060 The attempt to connect timed out
i get this messasge when i try to log into hl it sarted 2 days ago i havent change any settings was working fine. I reinstaled program but no good, any help would be realy apreciated thanx

thanx all fixed i deleted again and ran regestry first aid reloaded it and it ran must be a regestry problem but i'm not sure , computers are like that . good flying |

its back again i cant resolve the issue like last time does anyone have a answer to this problem . 
i have run nortons virus scan and it was clean.

Thanks Gunny but it is still not working i,ve pinged hyperfighter.jinak.cz no problems i think this is the connection hyperlobby uses.
if i change address in ini file i get the socket 11014 messeage so when set on proper address it looks like its getting to server.
I've called my isp and asked if the 21000 port was blocked but they say no .Is there any thing else i should try .

 fixed at last the problem was my computer.
The tcpip settings had changed if u have the same problem ping hyperfighter.jinak.cz and if u get "TTL expired on transit" it means your TTL settings maybe set to low . to check run "ping localhost"
this will give u a TTL number mine was 32 when it should have been 128 i hope this helps |
