We, the Schlachtgeschwader 2, have a own server located at an isp runnung WinXP and IL2 dedicated server using HL Pro.
To remote control the server we do use RAdmin.
When I start HL choose a free slot and the settings dialog appears. Because we use the same settings everytime i only hit the save-button. But i have to do it more than once. It is not reproducable how often. Sometimes at least 10 times.
I klick the button and the seetings dialog appears again and again.
Does anybody confirm this ?

Does anybody has to hit the save-button more then once to return to the selected slot in HyperLobby ? It happens if i control the server via RAdmin. |

I'm using RDP client to connect to my server running Windows 2000 server. I have same problem as you....
But now i just reinstaled server to Windows 2003. But now i cant run hyperlobby client

I was try it but without efect.
The problem is in aping.exe. This program is not running under w2003

I have found a bug in instalator. aping.exe getting hidden atribute. Try clear this atribute and tell me if this help ... |

It is still same error after set NO HIDDEn atribute.
Run-time error 429.
It is possible to run APING without lobby client ?
On my XP Proffesional is hidden attribute set on aping.exe file and lobby client running without problems.

Try coping your users folder from your game machine to the root directory of the dedicated server folder.This saves the settings listed in the info.Also those settings in the info are only informational.The game settings must be set in the server.cmd file if you want the same settings each time.If not you can set the game settings in the console by using the difficulty command. |
