Mouse curser dissapears

I'm getting a strange problem with the mouse curser disapearing at times when I'm in a co-op mission. It seems to happen when the host reloads the mission or loads a new mission while still connected. Once it disapears I can't bring it back yet if I ALT+TAB out of the game to my desktop or the hyper lobby window the mouse works fine. It works fine in dog fights and also when I'm playing stand alone on my pc.

Anyone have a clue as to why this may be happening?

P4 2.8 ghz
800mhz fsb
1 gig ddr ram (runs at dual channel)
Invidia G-Force FX5700 128mg
Mouse is a Microsoft Optical 2 button with centre wheel.

~S~ Corpse, this is a common problem that happens to me dozens of times every day, its not HL related, its a game issue.
All USN have the same problem sir.

Thank you for the reply. It's really annoying as when it happens I can't navigate to fly the mission and have to exit it. Has anyone figured a way out to stop it?

I did forget to mention I've got a simple MS Wheel mouse optical V1.1 so it's not a flash or new mouse.

I jusy hit control+alt+del...you may need to left clik the screen 1st...minimize then clik on game in task bar..fixes it for me...some usn report hitting control+esc...its not the mouse..its a game prob bro

Thanks I'll try both next time. I've tried ALT+TAB to get to the desktop then click the game again but didn't seem to resolve it.

Lots of people have this problem. I use the windows key which puts the game to taskbar in most cases. I have found that not touching your mouse at game start helps but is not reliable.

Edit: This is Il2 right?

I notice that this is an old post and that there was no fix for it. I am having the same problem now. With the old version of HL I could just hit the windows key to minimize the game and then click on the game in the task bar and my mouse cursor would come back and all would be well. However, since the latest version (4.2.3) that "fix" no longer works for me. Is anyone else having this issue? Is there a known fix? I have been unable to play the game online because of this issue.

This is for the game IL2 1946. Thanks

Sometimes the game not get focus, i solving it by ALT+TAB.
