Hi,

I'm a administrator of IL2 Forgotten Battles Dedicated Server (http://holubi.webzdarma.cz/english/). The server is started automaticaly as a system service without interaction with user. It is fine solution for NONSTOP regime but in the other hand, it is imposible to add this server into HyperLobby.

The problems are:
- HL client need interaction with graphical desktop and user to add a server.
- HL client start the server.

I need:
- non interactive HL client. The information about user name, password, game room, server name and server settings I need to be stored in HL configuration file ...
- HL client doesn't start the server - it is not necessary, but it is better, I want start server separately befor the HL client start, Im using FBDaemon for mission rotation...
- for stop the HL client I can kill directly the proces (HL client).

Thanks,

Since we're at it, I have noticed doing some tests with a server I was preparing, that from time to time HL client disconnects from the server (I was using HL client with the dedicated server).

This is not good for dedicated servers.. Is there a way to avoid disconnections?

Jiri, please consider this old request while you are doing this new client, if you can, thx.
I like the sound of the server info being stored in a file, so that if its activated and HL is started up it uses those settings as default and hosts the game.
As our server is remote and restarts once a day we could then run this client and after the server restarts run a bat file to fire up IL2 FBDaemon and Hyperlobby, HL would then use default hosting settings and do it all auto, if this makes any sense.
Here is my old, but still current request post.
