FB path not found-new problem

Joining to hyperlobby path missing error message appears, but no window to type in the path manually.

Using xp on a brand new machine. Insalled hyperlobby for several times, but no change.

After uninstalling I always delete the remaining files in the hyperlobbyfolder. After new installing my nickname is still typed in.

This means that somewhere something could not be deleted, could this cause the problem???????????

....any ideas?????????

I use Pentium 4- 2,53 Ghz with 512Mb Ram and GeForce 4 4600.

Oh and your uname and passwords are left in your registry after install, good to know if you forget your password. Wink

Thanks Gunny for reminding the registry.

....this is not where the problem comes from.

Just copied the whole hyperlobby folder from an other xp machine where it works onto my machine, but didnt help.

I got immediately the message that path is missing but no window to type in the path manually.

ANY OTHER IDEAS OUT THERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S.

It works for IL-2, there I receive the window to type in the path

If you want the "Add game path window to pop up press CTRL+SHIFT and left-clicking on the CONNECT button.

This was a great idea, I was too stupid to properly read the manual.
