Ok, ok, so it's not life itself, but it will make your virtual life last longer! Tired of blaming HyperLobby, cheaters, the game, your internet connection and other things that aren't broke and finally want an easy to read and understand guide on how to get your computer to run the game well? In that case, read the Guide!

The guide, with the exception of the psychotic diatribe on heating and power issues at the end, does not represent an original Luckyboy thought. What the guide tells you instead are basic concepts in computing that are easy to understand and act upon. Many of these ideas come from the folks who contribute to the IL-2 Community Help forum. It is written with no pictures to slow down loading on dial-up service and everything is explained in plain language. There is an index that helps you jump to the subject you are interested in, but I always say that one part of the computer affects the other, so bring a sack lunch and read all you can. The guide is not about egos or building up Luckyboy's belief system. It has real word solutions for real world computers...
