We are running 2 IL2 FB/ACE/& soon PF servers and would very very much like to host these on Hyperlobby! We presently can’t though because we do not have access or exe rights on the servers themselves.

The way our South African Gaming Host runs their server setup is that all their servers auto-reboot everyday to clear out the excess baggage on the servers and provide a nice clean fresh server for the next days play. The problem is that because of the reboot and the way that Hyperlobby works, our servers would have to be re-hosted on HL everyday after the reboot, requiring manual input. Hyperlobby requires you to manually input the server. Its not an app that just runs and scans randomly e.g. like ASE. We don’t have access to stop the server and restart it and run the HL client and we cannot get our host to do this every day.

Please! If anyone can figure out a way around this and to get our servers hosted on HL, the South African IL2 community would be most grateful!
Question Exclamation Very Happy

I'm on thin ice here as I am enquiring on behalf of our admins who say they can't solve the problem. However, I can say no, that doesn't help, we are already running the FB dedicated server software. The problem relates specifically to us not having access to the server to run HL Client after the daily boot-up, in order to host there. Crying or Very sad

Get admin rights to your local game server.Instal the Hyper Lobby client on the server machine and create a new name. When the local server reboots, start the hl client, sign in new name(usually the name of your server) and start server .(clicking host spot in df room)

This does require manual input but at your local level.

Thanks, but that's just our problem, the servers belong to a game service company and we can't touch them at all. To get any admin done on the servers we have to email/pm the company and it can take days for the admin to be done. To host on HL, HL client would have to be run every day after the daily reboot and the company won't do that. If only HL scanned for servers like ASE, we wouldn't have the problem.
