as far as i am aware its a fault at ur end, most probably an isp fault, cuz i got same error and it was associated with dns settings as the error is a dns lookup error which means that ur pc wasnt sending all the proper info or any info for that matter, in my case i think it was that my isp got hacked and they cud only use half there pipes to transmit info which inturn meant that they were at times not sending me an valid ip which meant i cud not connect to teh intraweb , when i say fault at ur end i mean its not HL fault, when i did get that error, i cud still use the web it was just that some pages wudnt appear like HL for example, i cud use OE for emails, but IRC wudnt connect neither did HL so if i didnt know that my isp had been hacked i wud be none the wiser as to what the problem was cuz my isp never said its there fault all they said was , our lines are ok, i had to find out from a m8 in the netherlands who works for the same company as my isp that they were messed up and practically shutdown for 24hrs, so if i were u i wud try ur isp b4 u start messing with system settings as its most likely not a fault on ur pc, unless u changed DNS settings

I had the same problem after installing the new version. I corrected it by completely uninstalling hyper lobby including all traces in the reg and all folders left behind. A complete, fresh installation fixed my prob.
