If I start Hyperlobby while my screen is sized to 800x600 - or if I change screen size, I loose the right hand side of the lobby.

Roughly the scroll bar, and the screen re-size/exit buttons at the top.

If I exit HL, change to a larger screen size (resolution), and restart HL, then it's fine again.

Jiri - thanks for all your work on this, and I hope your sponsor works well for you Smile

Troll, thanks for trying, but, I didn't understand a word of that - sorry ...

No matter, worked it out ...

Open hlpro.ini and change Scale:

Quote:
;Resize multiplier for HL window.
;For 800x600 resolution is optimal value 1 ...
;For 1024x768 resolution is optimal value 1.25 ...
;For 1280x1024 resolution is optimal value 1.5 ...
Scale=1

Scale=1 suits me Smile

The HL is designed for 800x600. The scale is here only to because higher resolution cause HL window be smaller. An year ago i started survey regarding display resolution users use. Lates HL have bumped the scale up by 10%...

HL 4.x that may be development will use diferent GUI and the minimal display resulution will be 1024x768 because 90% of the users use that or higher resolution:

Thanks Jiri

Too many "if's" and "and's" (unanswerable questions) for me to worry about the re-scaling with your development.

On 800 x 600, I only dropped there recently - my frame rates are significantly better for it (avg up by 30 - 50%), for very little loss of quality as a result (I don't fly perfect Wink )
