Problem with wrong version of run-time DLL

Problem : I'am getting always when I want to start HL message:"Wrong version of run-time DLL" . I was trying a couple of times to reinstall HL but it still not work. Same problem I found in this forum , link is : http://hyperfighter.sk/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=963&highlight=run+dll

Can you help me ?

P4 2.6 GHz
Asus P4P800 motherboard
1024 DDR 400 Hz
Matrox 80 + 40 GB
Leadtek A250 ( GeForce4 Ti4200 128mb)
Windows XP SP2
HL 3.8.95
LockON FC 1.12a

There are non verinfo.txt in instalation of HL.

I don't know exactly how to fix your problem. But I would uninstall HL, and make sure there are no files still in your computer.There are files left in computers sometimes after uninstall, and it can cause problems when you re-install.

I was thinking also as you , I tried that when problems started but HL still don't work Sad

I deleted all files of previus instalation and deleted HL files from registry , and try new installation but still is no go
