rgr Jiri,

I currently have it disabled. I use Mcafee Internet Security Suite 6.
I have Hyperlobby listed as "allow full access".

I have disable both XP and McAfee Firewalls yet the same error occurs. I also uninstalled and removed all folders and registry entries along with a new install, still no go. Any thoughts?

Here was one incident with a ISP provider (AOL ?) than block some ports for users application. Try ask your ISP if you are sure the problem is not at your end ...

Hi,
I contacted my isp, Cox High-speed Internet. They suggested ports they block may be the cause. They block certain ports for security reasons. Cox provided a link so you can see which ports they block. I hope there's still a way to get HL to work on my isp:

Thank you,

JimB
