On a RB3d community forum I put to the folks there a proposal of instead of using the current RB launcher and meta-servers, what if we looked into using hyperlobby as my short time using it with IL2-FB has left me very pleased. The initial response has been favorable.
As many of you know the Red Baron community is an old and still strong one, and to date the only worth while WWI flight sim online "I know of". I am of the opinion that exposure via hyperlobby will help continue this sim which due to the players has grown to degrees I'm sure the makers never imagined. An original set of perhaps 20 online flyable planes has turned to possibly 100, and the work on patches and such has shown a substancial effort by the community at large.
I feel that by being part of the Hyperlobby MMP launching network the exposure of others to this sim would be tremendous...yet in kind that of a long running community to all other sims here. The talents of each hopefully benefitting the other.
So is this a possibility? Though simply a game launcher I feel it could be the key to benifitting all.
