It look like problem of your ISP, or your firewall configuration. |

hello!
I'm new to HyperLobby and I appear to be having the same problem.
I only just installed the most recent version and haven't been able to connect at all. I've been trying over about 4 hours to no avail. I'm assuming this is a problem at my end?
Problem: I get this message every time: "HyperLobby server is temporary unavailable ..."
OS: Win XP Pro SP2
Games: IL2 FB AEP
HL Version: 3.8.101
Firewall: No software firewall in use, Hardware only
Internet Explorer version: 6
verinfo.txt file contents:
Win NT: 5.1.A28 - Service Pack 2
hlpro.exe 3.8.0.101
aping.exe 1.0.0.16
dexec.exe 1.0.0.5
mswinsck.ocx 6.0.88.4
msvbvm50.dll 5.2.82.44
asycfilt.dll 5.1.2600.2180
comcat.dll 5.0.2600.1
ctl3d.dll No Version Info available!
ctl3dnt.dll No Version Info available!
oleaut32.dll 5.1.2600.2180
olepro32.dll 5.1.2600.2180
stdole2.tlb 3.50.5014.0
I've tried opening ports 1698 and 21000 on my router but that doesn't do anything. Besides, I've never had any problems playing games or accessing servers before...
I live in the UK.
If anyone has any ideas on what might be wrong please let me know
Otherwise I'd really appreciate some suggestions on where else I can go to play IL2 FB online!
thanks! |

now it works fine |

I know the felling Just 20 mins ago i had no problem getting into lobby I had version 3.8.101 but got a message to download new version 3.9.111 and when i finished i could not access the lobby it starts to open , then i get a pop up to allow access, i choose yes but nothing else happens. I checked task manager and aping is running but hyper lobby is not responding I have allowed it in my firewall settings but still nothing. If I disable the firewall It connects no problem but I dont feel comfortable being online with no firewall and i have never had to disable it before the new update Do you think this is a port problem and if so what ports do I need to make sure are open? because something obviously has changed and all within a few minutes. Port 21000 works fine so any help would be most appreciated

Does this game server not accept PF+FB+AEP? I try to have the file chooser thing go directly to my IL2 FB folder, and it says it can't find the executable file. But I include the exe file in the path.
So is it retarded, or am I?
