Hello Jiri,
Downloaded the new Hyperlobby on my "Dedicated Server" and went to install it and it will lock up the computer and has to be reset. Tryed both new versions "hlpro38100" and "hlpro38101" same out come.
Have not had this problem before and I have been running a dedicated server for over 2 years. This is the last screen I see before it locks up the computer:
There is no error message. I will try to reinstall the older version that worked, when I get someone to reset the server. Server information.
OS = Windows 98se with no updates
Mem = 512 ram
dont remember the rest of the specs as it has been too long. If you need more information, I will do my best to get it for you. |

Yes, on old but until now very stable. There is a problem with that "reinstall" as the server is over 100 miles from me and all I have to control it is a remote desktop program and that makes it rough to reinstall windows.
I tryed to reinstall the last good version that worked and it did the same thing. So it looks like it is my problem and not yours. Something must have changed on the server, like a currupt reg file maybe?
Thanks for all you do for us Jiri and I will leave you alone to carrier on with the great job you are doing here for us.
Thanks a bunch.

Few tips:
1./Close all programs before you start HL instalation (exclude remote control software ).
2./Remove contens of the "c:\windows\temp" folder
3./(THIS WILL WORK !) Install the HL on another computer, zip the hyperlobby folder (c:\program files\Hyperlobbypro3), move it in to the remote host, unpack it everywhere and run it. HL do not need instalation exclude mswinsock.ocx, but it is the same for years, and the same version is here from previous instalation ... |
