Hi,
I just installed HL to a new computer, forgot my password and applied for a reminder. When I do that I'm told that there is no such user, although I've been T-6 for years.
Fine. I'll delete the account and start all over again. Doesn't work.
I know, I'll uninstall the HL, reinstall it and try again. Doesn't work. So then I go to the FAQ's where I happen across this little gem, and I quote:
"This message show HL client when:
1./ You are trying register new callsign that is already used
2./ You have forgot your own password
I not responsible for forgotten passwords, but you already can send me the forum Private Message with this stuff, and wait for my response. When you not got my response, your account will be automaticaly deleted after 9 months (if is really unused) ..."
Not very helpful under the circumstances and actually pretty rude!
The error messages I'm getting are as follows:
Please wait, connecting HyperLobby server
HyperLobby server connected succesfully
* Wrong username or password ...
Connection to HyperLobby server was closed
Does anyone know what's going on and how I fix it?

I just registered this past week and have the exact same problem. Wouldnt let me in right after I got done registering and still wont

Just registered here and have the same probem... can't log onto the server although it works on the webpage itself... strange..

I found that I cant use the name I registered here on the forums with, "Avenger" dosent work, but when I added other digits to my name I can log in.... my guess is that someone already uses my name, but only on the client, not here on the forums, so it wouldnt accept the password I use.
