Any of you gentlemen offer me a little information about this title, such as... Where can I get it, how does it compare to Janes WW2F, Is it an exspansion pack for IL2 and if so, does it require IL2 to be able to play. Any help would be appreciated, I am pretty much drawing a blank in my search engine.

Your best bet is to order it through your local web game sales place.
I have flowen il2/FB and found it harder to fly than janes but if you follow the rules of flight you should be ok
It is a stand alone game it is not an expansion pack.
Get the il2 demo and you will enjoy. There is no demo for il2/FB but if you like the il2 demo then you will love FB

I think the first word that comes is immersive.
I can't compare it to WW2F because I do not know this sim.
Much of what you can read in the forums is both true an subjective :
I think Oleg did a real work of historical docummentation, that he tried to translate the best that he could in the most beautiful WW2 air sim I've ever flew.
You will probably have your own opinion on flight models and every other things.
But globally, there is to admit that FB is a step forward to the feeling that you're in a cockpit, and better check your six and not stay alone if you want to have a chance to learn how to land on eastern front
Getting it is for sure not a loss of money, you can trust me.

First of all I would just like to thank Oleg Maddox and his team for creating the most wonderful simulation PC game I have EVER played. I can honestly say that I finally see the light.
It is hard to fathom the amount of time and energy that must have gone into making this game. One thing I *can* see, however, is the love.. Oleg you are a simulation guru, and symbol of unsurpassable determination, a beacon for those who seek perfection, and an artist. Oleg Maddox, thank you for all the love you poured into this simulation... It shows and the crowd that applauds you also is in awe.
