We are now accepting new members for LOCK-ON! Do you need to be an ACE or TOPGUN to join us? Not at all, our first priority is FUN!
We will help you with training and work at providing our members with a fun gaming enviroment!.
LOCK-ON Is our primary flight simm followed by IL2 Forgotten Battles. Our pilots receive promotions and awards by taking part in events, demonstrating flight skills, and thier overall contribution to the Wing. We are also registered with THE COMBAT ZONE for ladder competition for both of these top notch titles!
The 9VFW continues to watch for new and exciting combat simulations for our members to enjoy now and in the future.

curious, what's the 9vfw stand for? btw I'm still trying to figure all of this HL out and get it working but I do know how to fly, and I can land without blowing up...lol  |

You guys sound like what I might be looking for. I have had a long afinity with flight sims but flying experience online kinda got me running away because of the shoot down, respawn aspect of the whole thing. LOMAC was a great single player game (even with all its bugs) but I put it away about a year ago. In that time I have been heavily involved with GRAW, playing online with tactical groups thqat play in an organized coop mode.
With my new, cutting edge machine I decided to reload LOMAC and Flaming Cliffs and delve into the online aspect again, looking for a good coop style team to join. As I'm a west coast Canuck, you've got me thinking. Are you it? I am no ace. Consider me a novice willing to learn. |
