Very good, funds are available to purchase the game and now we only need to get it and put into Jiri's hands.
Jiri... could you PM (or email) me a mailing address to send the package, and a preferred mode of transport (UPS? FedEx? DHL?) and any special instructions. Might need a phone number for the delivering company to contact you as well. Once I know which package company to use, I can get a price quote and get the package on it's way. |

It's been almost a year now since we started our request to add Silent Hunter IV to the list of games supported by Hyper Lobby. It's been *three* years since a plea was made to have Silent Hunter III added. While there may have been an issue with someone not willing to give Jiri a copy of SHIII, that issue did not exist with SHIV. With funds in hand from myself and other contributers, I was ready to purchase the game and have it shipped to Jiri. All I needed was a reply to any one of several PM's sent, or to this thread. All I needed was a mailing address.
And I haven't received it. Not even so much as "I won't do it, I don't have time". I'm not afraid of hearing "No", but I'd like to hear *something*.
The silence is deafening.
Browsing around these forums I see mostly un-answered pleas for help or instruction. It's amazing to me that HL still operates... Whenever the funds pre-paid to the service provider run out, I'm sure HL will simply disappear, as it appears there is little developer support for this project. Which is a shame, since HL is one of the finest mutli-player gaming front ends I've seen in many years of online flight-sim gaming.
Hyper-Lobby could be so much more than what it evidently is: abandon-ware. |

Another year gone by and nothing. Yet HL still exists. Frankly, I'm amazed. |
