I just loaded "Hyperlobby", The main menu I have on my desk top does not look like the one in the manual. In the Dogfight in progress window I don't have the blue buttons or the red and green lights. When I click to join and inprogress game I take off and can't find anybody. Do I have to make a copy of the maps to use etc. I am really new to this game thing and don't know what I amj doing any help is appreciated.

When you firdt install Hyperlobby you are launched in the Jane's WWII Fighters lobby.

There is rarely anyone there so you will see no blue buttons.

You need to switch to the room of your choice.

Most are using the Forgotten Battles room.

Click on the "player lists" button at the top right.

Then "connect select game".

Select "Forgotten Battles".

Hyperlobby will then jump to the Forgottem Battles Room.

Hi Doddlebug, thanks fore the info. I did what you suggested and I still don't get any buttons. I also can't get the Dog Fight in progress window on the left. I have windows Vista Home Premium, does that make a difference? I really want to start playoing on line if I can get past these obstcles. I don't see a way to send an attachment to show you what I have on my screen. [/img]

Vista is not the problem.

If you can join a game then I would suggest you got it right.

Try a "arcade" or Easy server like Skys of fire and see if you find someone or they find you.

"Full Real" servers can be very hard for a newbie to find anyone.

Thanks to some help in the Missions4today forum, I checked one of the previous forum entries and solved the problem. It was in the Skin file, I deleted one of the dots in the files containing three dots and left two,it works perfect now. Thanks
