Tex, I have found no solution for this issue.
I assume you are running Win XP?

May be a new virus or worm causing it as many seem to be getting it.

Try setting your machine to an eariler date. (windows recovery).

It also may be a corrupted "runtime" code issue.

I have been wondering what was the last program you guys installed.
Maybe there is something in common there?

I have to warn you that asking me for help might bring RS_Blooddrive down on you in the Hyperlobby.
He seems to be peddeling his hatred and envy campaign pretty hard on the HH squad.

Now, back to the issue.

This from Microsoft.

A DLL required by the object can't be used, either because it can't be found, or it was found but was corrupted.
Make sure all associated DLLs are available. For example, the Data Access Object (DAO) requires supporting DLLs that vary among platforms. You may have to rerun the setup program for such an object if that is what is causing this error.

As I see it there are two options.
Re-install "runtime visual basic" or try rolling windows
back to a date before the last software install.

I am guessing there is a corruption issue.

But it could be a software conflict issue.

If Visual basic runtime is corrupted then rolling windows back to an eariler date
will not solve the problem.

You can re-install VB runtime though, it's available free from Microsoft.

Maybe so, but try hitting the MS site and re-installing VB Runtime.

You can do no damage at this point!
