I just tried joing Forgotten Battles, but I keep getting an error when Hyperlobby searches for the game path. It successfully locates it, but when I hit save, it says "Hyperlobby cannot find game installation". I've got version 4.08 and windows vista with a fairly high end computer. Please help... |

he said Vista and he's not the only one having this problem, another guy is using Vista Home Premium 64 bit, whats the deal, when it searches it finds it but gives the error when you try to connect, even when the path is copied into it, it still gives te same error? |

Ok, I will help, he's too dull and slow to be of help.
You need not suffer just because a raging asshole is haunting this message board.
You may have to manually input the path.
Instructions are here at this link to the HL on line manual.
http://hyperfighter.sk/content-1.html
Scroll down to item 7.
Also using Vista you need admin rights to fully install HL.
Right click for admin rights and try again.
I had to create a admin log in, my procedure is posted here...
My procedure at this link.

Good luck!

None of this worked for Vista home premium 64, as I stated he copied the path and saved it and still doesn't start,
He is signed in as the admin and no go. |

cwoodward1981 - we figured it out, you will be be waiting forever with these guys for an answer, when you go to open HyperLobby, you need to right click on the HyperLobby Icon instead of double clicking it, when you do this you need to select run as admin, to open it, and then it will work! |

"Also using Vista you need admin rights to fully install HL"
My mistake for assuming you people knew how to start admin rights.....

Well there is one last thing you can do, install Hyperlobby anywhere else besides Program files and same with IL-2, try that and run them as admin. |

Forgot that one. A number of Vindows Vista users had to move the
IL-2 installation to the C drive root directory to get it to work.
No need for a re-install, just copy and paste the folder (s).
