Cannot find .exe

Ya i got the steam version of 1946 and im in the right room and i manually type in the .exe location (C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\il 2 sturmovik 1946\il2fb.exe) and it STILL SAYS IT CANT FIND IT!!! WTF!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!

I try to laumch hl an say the same thing i have window vista what i need to do. sorry about my english, i speak spanish but under stant a lite bit in englis. tnx Embarassed

Some Vista users have been forced to copy the IL-2 1946 installation folder to the C:\ drive root, out of the "Program files".

After that you just enter a new link into Hyper Lobby.

You need not type it, just copy and paste it.

If you are running Vindows Vista you need admin rights to do a complete install.
you need to right click on the HyperLobby Icon instead of double clicking it, when you do this you need to select run as admin, to open it, and then install it.

I cant either find the exe. I have 1946 and got the latest version. But i dont have vista i have XP .. so WTF?!

And when i have put the wrong path once and cant find any servers, i cant change the path anymore to put the right one...

PS: Even if I delete hyperlobby the path is still the same and cant be changed... HELP!

Ok where is the answer to this ?
I am having the same problemo

I type in this path

C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\il2fb.exe

It still doesn't see it it scans my drive and I can see the path go you and it still says it can't find it.
